Difficulties students have with preparing for exams are, time management, reading for comprehension, note-taking, and coping with anxiety.
When reading, you might want to survey the text for introductions, headings, sub-headings, bold-face/italic type, key terms list, summary, conclusions, reading/learning goals and repeated material.
When in an exam it is important not to stress and freak out because this can cause u to forget all your work and not use the time set properly.

When preparing for an exam it is important to use your time and note taking well so that u have all the information required to achieve well in the exam.
When setting out an exam you should set it out properly so that it is easy to follow along with so u rnt trying to remember different sections

Three reasons why i believe boys like science fiction and fantasy books.
1 that boys like interesting and unrealistic movies.
2 That boys like to to read these books rather than fiction because they are more enjoyable and easier to read.
3 These books are generally exiting and not as long as other books.

Yes it does relate to me i lke fantasy and science fiction because it makes me want to read more.
I think that my friends would like the science fiction books for the same reasons i do, because they are interesting.

my favourite genera is mystery. It keeps me enthused throughout the book and makes me want to read more

I think that this quotation trys to tell us that poetry is importand for our lives.

I sort ov belive the quotation made on the top of page 6 because i belive poetry should be used world widE, but then there are some people that dont like poetry at all

The two bits of poetry i got for every day life were out of the advertiser in the death notice section in the back of the paper.

Because it makes the message sound more meaningful and so it is not a long spread out piece of writing

Why?I didnt find anything else apart from myspace interesting.

How do i feel about elite sports people using recreational drugs?

I think that if good sports players take drugs they are doing themselfs no good. If they want to be very good at something they should train more instead of have drugs. People like Chris Jud for eg took drugs for the purpose of buffing up. If sport athletes get caught they are suspended from this sport.



Is it ever acceptable? Why/why not?

It is ok to take drugs if u have a injury or a health isseue but it is not ok to take them if you want to get better at a sport or get stronger.



Should elite sports people be drug tested for recreational drugs?

I think all elite sports people should be tested for drugs because you never reall can tell if someone is on drugs. Also if the person who takes a drugs and beats a person in a race that is not on drugs it is unfair.

Should there be particular penalties for elite sports people using recreational drugs, and if so, what would be appropriate?
I think that there should be penalties for people that use drugs to improve their sporting because it is unfair to the people who dont take them. Some penalties could be a suspension from the sport or even the police getting involved or a second chance.

HELLO PEOPLE
I have found in my past reading that when reading a book it explains the story alot better than when you watch a movie. When watching a movie occasionally they will leave out some parts that you read in a story. For eg in the Harry Potter and the Phillosopher Stone they say that when harry and hagrid are leaving to go to hogwarts from the light house they leave in a boat but in the movie they leave on a motorbike.
I like movies better tho because you get the feeling of being in the movie. Also i like movies because you dont have to read and i do not enjoy reading.
I also find it easier to watch the movie than read because you get to see wat the characters look like.

In a book they seem to tell the story alot better tho because the put in a lot more detail for eg they explain the book better than the movie most times.

So my answer is

I am interested in motorbikes.
The best brand i belive is Yamaha. I have a yz 125 this is a racing bike known as a two stroke. I have found that yamaha is very reliable and hardly ever break down. There are also 4 wheeler motorbikes they range form 50's to massive 600's. We also have a 4 wheeler it is a honda 300. It has been very reliable and we have had it for about 13 years. You can get two types of 4 wheelers racing and quad. The difference is that the racing one has a two stroke engin and the quad bike has a four stroke.
I have raced by bike at Kmba every nown ad gain when races are on on exeats etc.

My book i read on the holidays!!

Caught in the headlights is about a boy called peter and his two mates hans and john. The live on a farm near a small town called talem bend. Lots of bad things happen such as a Hay shed gets burnt down on Hans's place and also there next door neighbours had some sheep shot. The go to a small school and have issues with a boy called josh hannan and his mates. Josh is a drug dealer and always is looking for fights. Until one day when josh lost in a fight to Hans. Josh said he would get revenge and so he did he planted Hans and Johns locker with marijuana. The teachers found it and had the two boys expelled. Lots of other interesting stuff hapens as you read on but i will let you find that out.

The book would appeal to people who live on a farm and have to deal with these issues. Also it's a kind of mystery and crim book. It is rated at older year levels maybe yr 10 and above because it has a fair bit of illegal acts and murders in it.

What makes the book so good is the happy ending and that i like stories about mystery and farms and adventures. I think the book will sell because the book tells the life of childeren on a farm who have to deal with crime and Josh Hannan. Also i think people who like to read about children having fun and solving mysteries.

Hello People

I chose to go rock climbing for the Peak Adventure.
I am going to victoria to go rock climbing at the Grampions.
The reason i chose this activity is because that i like hights and also i have been rock climbing before at a camp at my old school. We went to errapa at Iron Knob.
The thing i think i will find most challanging is actrually climbing the rock. it will be quite slippery if the rock gets wet. Also i think our food plan might struggle but im not sure for definate yet haha.
The best part will be the rock climbing and just having fun with all my mates and getting to no the people running the rock climbing activity.
I think that you need to work beyond your comfort zone because otherwise you wouldnt get any braver in your life. Also i find that if you dont do somthing that looks scary but is fun u find after that you feel really bad u missed out.

I have seen "10 things i hate about you" and it was a great movie

I have heard it is exelentand very good to look at.

When i want to find a book i will go to the senior fiction sectionn and look for a book to my taste.
I also use the computer catalouge to search my favourite books.
I like books that have good bright covers. I also read the blerb of a book before reading it.
The reason why i like to look for books my self is because i can see other bookks while im looking for my desired book. Sometimes i find another better book.

I think the way i go in finding a book is a good way because you can also find better books while u r looking. Also by using the catalouge u can find your book quickly.

I found my book while i was searching through the senior fiction books.
I am really enjoying my book at the moment it is very intersting and enjoyable.

The name of my book that im currently reading is called "Caught In The Headlights"

The main caracter is a young teenage boy who is called Adam. He is about 16 years old and has black scraggy hair. Adam is quite tall and lanky. So far in the story Adam is inside a house hiding from some of his mates that want to get him because he did a prank on them.

The find him and then they run towards an old harvester to hid from an oncoming veichel. They dont recognise the car.
I have only jst began by book so i have not found out much about my book yet.

The book is told by hte teenege boy called Adam.
The author has created Adam so the stoyline can take place.
The author has chosen to age Adam at a young teenager because the story involves lots of young teenagers.

If the gender of Adam was changed he would be a female and the whole story would change.

Hello peoplz

I think that people who write bloggers want to express tell people about their life and books they have read and so on.

The difference between a blogger and a diary is that a diary is something u want to be kept personal, Eg your life story or something personal. A blogger is something u wish to share with other people for eg. A summary of a book or a little bit about your life story.

My name is stefdog i dont really enjoy reading but if i have a choice i like to read short novels. I am a slow reader but i understand the text of the book and can remember the novel. If i get a book that i enjoy i read it a lot quicker and enjoy it more. The problem is that the books ive been reading so far r not really interesting so until i find a good book i enjoy i will be not as quick a reader. The book i am reading at the moment is called "The Wandering Icon" it is ok but i would prefer a novel with a bit more action and mystery.
